HAND-MADE ANIMATION STUDIO and ANIMATION WORKSHOPS

Studio is located in the House K-18. It's provincial: all citizens of Satakunta can use it by the same
condition.
So anyone can do his/her own hand-made animation film but not a computer-animation.

Equipment of the studio: animation desk with glass desk top, stroke desks, lightning gears,
DV-cameras, works stations for editing and picture processing. However, there isn´t 2D of 3D
computer animation facilities. Even one 16mm film camera exists. Therefore in demand we have ability for professional animation production with 16mm film.

Studio is usable for courses and it can also serve as training unit of other moving pictures.

The animation studio is available for professional usage. In that case SFC acts like a producer or studio is just rented. We ask you carry your own materials when needed. Six-month animation training course was held 31.01. - 07.07.2000 for SAMK

Finished work exhibition of an animation course was organised in the cellar of the culture house, Annankatu 6, in September 2000.
